SEACOR Holdings Inc. Announces Filing of Registration Statement for Initial Public Offering of Era Group Inc.
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 08/01/11 -- SEACOR Holdings Inc. (NYSE: CKH) ("SEACOR") today announced that Era Group Inc. ("Era"), its wholly-owned subsidiary, has filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of its Class A common stock. Era is one of the largest helicopter operators in the world. The shares in the proposed offering will be issued and sold by Era. The number of shares to be offered, the price range, and the timing of the proposed offering have not been determined. Era currently operates as the Aviation Services segment of SEACOR.
